Job DescriptionBLUE SKY/TASK ORDER/IDIQ CONTINGENT UPON CUSTOMER APPROVAL OF RESUME AND SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET:Shall maintain current version/release of authorized application software: AutoCAD 2009, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office products, EnCase. Operating Systems, which include: Windows XP, Vista, 7, Server 2008, RedHat, and MAC OSX, Lion, Snow Leopard. Security software includes High Band Sub-System (HBSS), Symantec AV, etc. as the RDT&E configuration base-line.
Provide support for routine network problems, and notify the Information Technology (IT) Specialists to ensure smooth operation of network connectivity and availability.

Assist with the smooth operation of user Personal Computer (PC) by providing support for software installation, updates, backup, and configuration changes which include network software and device driver support to ensure network compliance.

Provide IT support by identifying configuration problems with hardware and software components, troubleshooting systems, installations, testing and checkout to ensure operational networking of IT systems.
Provide and maintain software Configuration Management (CM) documentation for VTC systems, workstations and application software.

The following IA workforce categories, levels, training, and certifications are required for
contractor personnel under this task order: IAT Level 1 is required, with Security+ serving
as a primary qualifying certification.

The contractor will maintain authorized application software and provide support for routine network problems.

Shall ensure that personnel accessing information systems have the proper security clearance and IA certification to perform IA functions identified in section 3.1.1 of this SOW in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program. The Contractor shall meet applicable information assurance certification requirements, including (a) DoD-approved IA workforce certifications appropriate for each specified category and level and (b) appropriate operating system certification for information assurance technical positions as required by DoD 8570.01-M.
Shall have working knowledge of the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) topography.

Shall submit Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) orders using the required Form database and requests using the Service Request Form from the NMCI website.

The contractor shall provide assistance for VTC support to include configuring, upgrading,
maintaining, troubleshooting, scheduling usage, coordinating with other VTC sites, and
accrediting the VTC systems at SPAWAR SSC PAC, Pearl City, Hawaii.

The candidate shall maintain and configure the Tandberg Media Processing System (MPS).
The candidate shall research VTC systems for updates and upgrades.
The candidate shall maintain current version/release of authorized Tandberg/Polycom
software, to ensure smooth operation of VTC systems.
The candidate shall provide VTC installation support by troubleshooting and performing
system tests.
The candidate shall identify and resolve configuration problems with hardware and
software components to ensure operational availability of VTC systems.
The candidate shall maintain current documentation of the VTC network and application
software.
Basic Qualifications• Equivalent experience/education combinations are NOT permitted based on the Typical Minimums for this job. This requisition requires a minimum of 05 years of related experience and a BS degree in a related discipline. Only candidates possessing both qualifications can be considered.

Five (5) years of experience with the design and operations of intelligence community (IC) related communications systems and infrastructure.
Five (5) years of experience and expertise with the functionality, operations and associated applications of the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System.
Desired skillsSix (6) years of experience with Personal Computer (PC) support and operations, which include software installation, updates, backup and configuration changes. Six (6) years of experience and expertise with the functionality, operations, configuration settings and associated applications and network interoperability of IT systems. Six (6) years of experience shall reflect the ability to
develop analytical techniques to troubleshoot and ensure the successful implementation of system configurations, design, relocation, installation, test and checkout. Six (6) years of experience shall reflect the ability to prepare technical documentation used for operation, configuration, and testing of VTC & IT systems.
Six (6) years of experience and expertise with the functionality of a mixed Windows, MAC, and VMWare environment. Completion of the Security Plus certification in compliance with DoD 8570.01-M Provide documentation with resume submission.
