The Data Collection Team Lead is responsible for training and mentoring Data Collection Associates (DCAs) within an identified territory. The Team Leaders assist supervisors and/or managers with coordination of market workload to ensure quality, timely data collection. Team Leaders provide support to supervisor and DCAs in the areas of training, problem resolution, and store coverage. Perform data validations on all retail data that is collected within the assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities with Regard to Workers’ Compensation Claims: You are responsible for reporting any employment related injury you incur to your direct supervisor as soon as possible following an incident resulting in an injury.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company does maintain the discretion to change the role based on the needs of the business and/or the client.

- Assist in providing formal training to new DCAs in assigned market area. Assist in providing ongoing and/or specific review training to existing DCAs.
- Ensure the overall consistency and quality of the data collected, and provide timely resolution to obstacles.
- Provide assistance and guidance to a team of DCAs to help them to reach acceptable levels of performance in production and accuracy.
- Communicate any issues regarding DCAs to Market Supervisor or ROM.
- Encourage teamwork and set the example for ethical behavior and honesty with team members.
- Help coordinate with Retail Supervisor and complete store coverage for DCAs in the event of illness, vacation, high-volume survey weeks, etc.
- Will be responsible for some regularly assigned data collection activities. (Average week with approximately 80% billable hours of data collection, validations, training, and 20% administrative/overhead time)
- Meets CROSSMARK Retail Data Collection defined standards of work volume, quality, accuracy, cost containment, completeness, and timeliness by:
- Complying with travel and mileage standards established by CROSSMARK.
- Following CROSSMARK expectations on cost containment.
- Completing assignments and transmitting data according to CROSSMARK’s established procedures and schedules.
- Submitting time card and expense information in accordance with CROSSMARK’s established procedures and timelines.
- Communicates effectively with management, supervisor and coworkers by:
- Communicating no less than weekly with supervisor and/or management regarding schedules/issues,
- Attending district and market meetings,
- Advising supervisor and management of promotional activity.
- Flexibility of schedule is important. Hours vary depending on your location, availability, and willingness to travel.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required for personal car.
