Job Description - FACILITY WORKER (13011607)   Requisition ID : 13011607 Business Sector : Electronic Systems Location : United States-California-Azusa US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Relocation Assistance: No relocation assistance available Clearance Type: Secret Number of Openings : 1 Shift : 2nd Shift Description   Performs heavy duty cleaning of hard floors and carpets by utilizing power equipment as necessary to perform assignments. Performs the mechanical assembly, disassembly and occasional heavy lifting related to moving and placement of office equipment and furniture. Drives truck in performance of duties. Operates power scrubber and waxer, power carpet cleaning equipment. Operates a variety of other power cleaning equipment as necessary to perform cleaning assignment. Works from ladders and high scaffolding to clean ceiling, etc., as necessary. Assembles, disassembles, moves and places office equipment, such as desks, cabinets, office machinery and related equipment. Operates trucks and forklifts in performance of normal duties. Coordinates with others on heavy lifts and placement of dollies. Performs manual labor functions as provided by custodial services department. Operates all types of power driven equipment to clean, sweep, maintain hallways, parking lots and adjacent grounds. Provides documentation and proper recording of Maintenance Department records including preventive maintenance. Observes company, OSHA and Safety regulations. erforms related and incidental work assignments as required. Must be able to follow exacting written and verbal instructions.   Qualifications   High school or equivalent. Requires the ability to perform heavy physical work commensurate with the above job description. Must possess a valid driver’s license that meets the California Vehicle Code. Must be able to obtain lift truck operator license and receive necessary ESD training. Must be computer literate to the extent required to perform job functions and proper recording and documentation of maintenance records.
