L&R Distributors is actively seeking Part Time Retail Field Merchandisers to provide excellent customer service in local Grocery and Drug accounts. Are you are a quick learner with a positive attitude and strong desire to go the extra step in providing excellent customer service? Then this is the job for you!!! You’ll be expected to provide designated merchandising services on a REGULAR and CONSISTENT schedule to a set group of stores within the time requirements and expectation of L&R and the Account. You’ll be expected to order and stock merchandise within L&R guidelines and strict Account inventory controls. You’ll be expected to display a positive, pleasant demeanor in working through issues that may arise and show your ability to communicate effectively with store personnel and supervisors. Your primary goal is to help both the retailer and the manufacturer maximize sales and increase sales volume. This goal is accomplished through execution, education, and promotion of our products. In addition, we are looking for individuals who are willing and able to: • Go the extra in providing accounts with UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETE QUALITY SERVICE. • Develop relationships with store management-so outgoing personalities are a plus! • Work independently and show organizational and time management skills • Check emails /voice mails and the company INET site regularly and respond quickly to ALL questions and requests. • Operate a small hand held device to order, track time and expense. ~WE HIRE FOR ATTITUDE AND TRAIN FOR SKILL~ (Previous merchandising experience is helpful, but we are willing the train the right person.) REQUIRED QUALIFICATION • Able to lift 30-40 lbs, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time • High speed internet access with own personal email account • Must be 18 years or older with a Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Car and Proof of Insurance This position offers consistent hours every week. Majority of work is Part Time and performed Monday through Friday between 7am and 5pm with some flexibility.
