Hotel Overview: Known as the islands only all-suite oceanfront resort, the hotel is situated on Polo Beach in the world-class, master-planned destination of Wailea, on the south western coast of Maui. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Spa Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during check in and check out Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the job Host guests through the facility and familiarize them with the surroundings while explaining the Willow Stream story  Guide the guests toward their specific needs when making reservations and offer multiple treatment bookings and up-sells Communicate all changes, cancellations and additions to the team Promote a safe working environment by adhering to the Hotel health and safety standards Process transactions and adjustments in the SpaSoft system daily Responsible for a cash drawer and ensure proper balancing procedures Actively support all green initiatives on property Other duties as assigned  Qualifications: Previous experience is an asset Computer skills is an asset Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times  Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Frequent standing and walking throughout shift Frequent sitting and bending throughtout shift Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps Visa Requirements: Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
