Deputy Program Manager - Core Systems - (133348) Description  HDR is an architectural, engineering and consulting firm that excels as complex projects and solving challenges for clients. More than 8,500 professionals, including architects, engineers, consultants, scientists, planners and construction managers, in over 200 locations worldwide, pool their solutions beyond the scope of traditional A/E/C firms. Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Systems the selected candidate will assist in the management and administration of the Core Systems Contract for the Honolulu Rail Transit Project; which includes the design, integration supply and commissioning of Traction Power, Passenger Vehicles, Automatic Train Control, SCADA and Communications.  Duties will include assurance of compliance with contract provisions and project goals and objectives including adherence to schedule and budget. The areas of responsibility consists of: daily management and administration of program activities and contractor management; supervising technical support staff in conductance of design reviews and manufacturing and commissioning support; leading or assisting in negotiations for applicable professional services contracts;  performing project oversight management activities related to scope, schedule and budget; validating change requests regarding entitlement and merit; assisting in negotiations of change orders; and assisting in contract/project close-out activities.   Qualifications   Bachelors degree in Engineering, 15+ years management experience. Strong history of successful experience in program management of rail transit systems contracts . Ability to assist with marketing HDR's rail transit and rail transit systems capabilities. Good leadership and organizational skills.
