Job Description
Energetic and friendly individual needed to provide outstanding leadership in a retail customer service position. The Guest Services Supervisor is a front line ambassador who provides a high level of personal customer service to our guests. The Guest Services Supervisor also manages team members and serves as a liaison between the property's management team and the corporate office.
Must have strong organization and communication skills, and be able to multi-task. Professional appearance is a must.
Job Duties:
- Takes great pride in offering helpful, friendly service at all times. Helps ensure guests are greeted and assisted in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Works closely with building management to share information and monitor consistency of service property-wide.
- Has a strong knowledge of the local community and can easily give directions to festivals, events, attractions, restaurants, hotels, tours and transportation schedules in the surrounding area.
- Ensures Guest Services Desk appears professional and fully stocked with information including local maps, brochures and event literature.
- Supervises and manages the part-time team members, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
- Arranges the schedule for the Guest Services team and ensures that time cards are accurate for payroll.
- Leads and motivates team members, especially in the area of gift card sales.
- Assists the mall with marketing initiatives, including social media marketing and sign-ups for the mall club.
Job Requirements:
- Four year degree preferred or partial degree with life experience
- Possesses strong knowledge of the area's entertainment, dining and cultural venues
- Able to supervise part-time staff while following company policies including scheduling shifts
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including internet navigation
- Flexible working hours.
- Able to complete multiple tasks while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Able to listen and react quickly to guests' requests
- Takes initiative and thinks creatively
- Able to supervise people while following company policies.
- Able to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Able to work with varied personalities and temperaments.
- Team player.
- Self-motivated.
