Sunetric is looking for the right candidate to join our management team! We have a current opening for a Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate will have two years experience recruiting, training, supervising, motivating, and organizing a warehouse logistics team. Must have strong computer skills and excellent communication skills. Activities: • Administers operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current; • recruiting and training of staff; • monitoring the performance and progress of staff; • motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met; • communicating with other departments; • overseeing stock control and processing orders; • ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met ; • fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters; • coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems; • responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax and telephone; • keeping stock control systems up to date; • planning future capacity requirements; • producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; • briefing team leaders on a daily basis; • visiting customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving; • maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment; • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment. Essential Job Requirements: Excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills. Education: High School Diploma, (some college preferred) Experience: 2-3 years of direct warehouse supervision Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, (prefer ERP software experience) Preferred Skills: able to operate a forklift as well as other material handling equipment. Physical: able to lift 100lbs
