Job Description
Maui Divers of Hawaii, Hawaii's premier Jewelry design, manufacturing and sales business, is currently recruiting for an energetic and experienced professional to join our Human Resources Department.
Primary job functions include but are not limited to:
*Act as the first point of contact for candidates and vendors coming to the Human Resources office. Be professional in appearance and demeanor. Direct visitors to the proper person/department as needed.
* Screen applications for minimum qualifications and communicating applications and resumes to hiring managers; coordinates and tracks the review, interview, selection, and hiring process with hiring managers. Communicate with candidates and new hires via phone and email to ensure a positive candidate experience.
* Generate, source, and maintain jobs in applicant tracking system. Handle any system issues and/or questions. Manage job postings on all on-line job sources to include Maui Divers Jewelry web site, Monster, Craigslist and other web based sites.
* Administer REID survey to potential candidates and communicate results to hiring managers.
* Order background checks for potential candidates and communicate results to hiring managers.
* Assist with employee events (holiday party, pizza party, ice cream party, retirement, service awards, and charity events).
* Collate Benefit/New-Hire packets. Provide general support during New-Hire orientation sessions-conduct tours of departments; assist with completion of new hire paperwork.
* Handle interviews as needed. Coordinates and attends job fairs.
* Maintain retail uniform inventory. Fill requests from employees for new/replacement uniforms.
* Generates and distributes correspondence; assists with other various HR-related projects.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 1-2 years of professional office and/or Human Resources experience.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of HR-related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Working knowledge of Federal and State HR laws and regulations.
* Strong proficiencies in MS Office applications Word, Excel and Outlook. PowerPoint knowledge helpful.
* Detail oriented and have the ability to multi task.
