Description
The Part Time Merchandiser is responsible for stocking and zoning product, maintaining account aesthetics, and occasionally processing product returns.  Daily communication and follow-up with the District Field Supervisor is expected.

  • Maintain account aesthetics (zoning, maintain modular integrity)
  • Responsible for setting product to plan-o-gram, perform resets, POP placement, inventory counts, and moving product from the stock room to the sales and merchandising floor.
  • Communicate to the District Field Supervisor on a daily basis as to all activities accomplished.
  • The individual must have internet, computer, and printer access.  Must learn to navigate Readerlink’s online Time Reporting System (TRS) in order to report time and print essential servicing documents and other communications weekly.
  • Ability to maintain and improve customer relationships while effectively communicating sales products and promotions at customer locations.
                
 

Position Requirements
At least 6 months experience in sales and/or retail is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred to travel to additional locations (use of public transportation is acceptable.)  Having and maintaining automobile insurance is required.


Physical Requirements:  The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

  • Must be able to lift objects and product up to a maximum of 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects/products up to 35 lbs.
  • Work could be performed while sitting, standing or walking.
  • Work performed will entail fine manipulation of hands and/or fingers, as well as repetitive hand action.  It will also involve bending, twisting, squatting, and upper/lower body mobility.
