Title: Administrator I Database - Database Specialist/ Administrator
Position Summary – This Position is Contingent Upon Award:
This contract will support the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) J8, Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division, Camp Smith, Hawaii in providing analysis, operations, testing and evaluation, and program management efforts focusing on new or existing capabilities in the fields of but not limited to, operational energy, cyber, electronic warfare, C4ISR, sensors and aircraft.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures appropriate linkages to existing databases and data processing systems. Ensures adequate security and recovery procedures are included in all data base designs. Directs the training of user groups in the protocols involved in updating and accessing the database. Monitors database transactions to ensure correct usage of the database. Provides technical expertise on the database system to user and data processing personnel.
Basic Qualifications (including education and years of experience required)
Bachelors Degree
Must have experience in current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various DBMS, and experience with DBMS internals. Acts as a project leader in the design and installation of database applications.
This position requires a minimum of SECRET security clearance.
