ENTER JOB DESCRIPTION

The Route Settlement Clerk is responsible for processing customer orders received over the phone, via fax or other electronic means; ensuring delivery route settlement daily and supporting customer service issues.

• Accurately enter customer orders
• Properly channel orders to appropriate routes on the correct days
• Generating delivery tickets and load sheets
• Effectively communicate/coordinate with Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain as needed to meet customer requests
• Balance route inventory, sales and returns daily
• Able to learn DMS system
• May relieve the switchboard operator
• Filing and other duties as may be assigned daily

Job Requirements

ENTER JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Good math and analytical skills
• Excellent telephone skills (Answering and customer calling)
• 10-key by touch proficiency
• 1-2 years customer service/order experience in the grocery/food business preferred
• MIcrosoft Office Word and Excel proficiency
