Please note that this position will be hired under the subsidiary United Airlines collective bargaining agreement or divisional work rules until a joint agreement or combined divisional work rules are obtained.

  • Overview
    • Coordinating and communicating aircraft gate assignments, flight delays, aircraft equipment and other related functions 
    • Arranging passenger protection, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and related services during irregular operations.
    • Monitoring and coordinating information for baggage connections, flight onload/offload instructions and disseminates final outbound load data for downline station use and company statistical reports.
    • Assembling passenger, cargo, fuel, crew and other load data for automated or manual computation of aircraft weight and balance to optimize the pay load for assigned flights.
    • Providing and maintaining local flight operating and connection information for station, public and unimatic system use. Advises the flight kitchen or local caterer of flight meal boarding requirements.
    • Editing computer-generated flight record information for dissemination and use in automated passenger check-in procedures (ACI).
  • Qualifications

     
    Education
    • High school diploma, GED or education equivalent required
    Experience
    •  Two years as a Customer Service Representative, Ramp Serviceman, or related work involving airport operations
    Other
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must pass a background check
    • Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays: mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need
    • Must be able to work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
    • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
    • Successful completion of interivew required to meet job qualifications
