Job Description:
Responsible for processing Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) and act as the repair activity representative on Tagouts onboard United States Navy Ships for contractors, sub-contractors, and Alteration Installation Teams (AIT’s). Comply with all applicable Safety and Health requirements. Attend pre-planning meetings.Receive WAFs for review to assure that timetables and budgets are met. Coordinate the isolation of equipment prior to any system intrusive work using the Tagout System. Conduct WAF and Tagout requirement training. Must be able to climb stairs to reach various sections of the ships. Able to crawl and Walk a minimum of 500 yards.

Must be U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to attain Rapid Gate badge.

This position does not provide relocation assistance or travel reimbursement for interviews.

Required Skills: 
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience:Must have one year experience and be familiar with the United States Navy Tagout System or equivalent processes. Required Skills: Proficient use of the computer; facsimile machine, multi-function telephone, copier Knowledge of Naval ship standards and requirements Ability to write understandable reports Ability to read and understand technical manuals Ability to prepare departmental operating procedures
