Job Title: Sr. Insurance Business Analyst
Duration: 4 to 6 Months

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and guidance on industry trends and processes
- Responsible for working with leaders, users, and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements and business analysis artifacts throughout the life of a solution.
- Candidate should have a solid work history as a business analyst along with exceptional communications skills (verbal and written), meeting facilitation expertise, highly accomplished personal organizational abilities and a “big picture” view of how technology can be used to drive business solutions.
- Candidate must be capable of guiding the client through the requirements development process while working with fellow team members to coordinate and communicate the business and solution requirements.
Required Experience:
- Extensive P&C Insurance experience
- Eliciting requirements using techniques such as: facilitated workshops, interviews, document analysis, prototyping, and interface analysis
- Understanding and analyzing the impact of change across the organization
- Specifying and analyzing business goals/requirements, functional requirements, system interface requirements, reporting requirements, data requirements, non-functional requirements and business rules
- Discovering and documenting scope using visual modeling techniques
- Uncovering process improvements and seeing those improvements through implementation, adoption and realization of business value
- Analyzing requirements from several functional areas to determine potential conflicts/other requirements that may exist in other areas
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and various approaches (e.g., waterfall, agile)
- Proven ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts among diverse stakeholder groups
- Working knowledge of the IIBA’s Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) preferred
