Description
LSInc is seeking a medical records clerk. Overview of position: 1. Must electronically document progress, concerns or other issues relevant to member's cases, and enter all mandatory data in the Medical Boards Online Tri-Service Tracking system (MEDBOLTs), Veterans Tracking Application (VTA), DES User-Interface, Composite Healthcare System (CHCS), and Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Applications (AHLTA) and Army Knowledge Online (AKO) and Navy Knowledge Online (NKO), or other automated systems that may come on-line during the term of the contract.  2.  Obtain, assemble, and forwards all documents and records required by the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) and shall be the focal point for accomplishing other actions essential for prompt, effective and adequate caseload processing. 3.  Counsels and assists members whose cases are likely to be referred to the PEB. 4.  Counsels members about estimated severance pay, retired pay and computation methods, PDRL compensation and computation methods, disability severance compensation and computation methods, estimation of VA compensation and computation methods.  5.  Must have at least 1 yr documented prior experience of government budget processes and systems. Education requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate; One year of experience providing medical administrative support services; Security requirements: Be a U.S. Citizen; Secret clearance required.
